From our beginning in 1972, Data Comm has believed in these principals. However, back then our product offering was much more diversified. Since taking over as president in 1996, Joe Birk has narrow focused our products into those only used by office professionals such as yourself. We now offer a full complement of imaging equipment to include: copiers and MFP’s, scanners, printers, and document distribution, archiving and retrieval software. We offer, as well, more than 30,000 office supplies you can order on-line with next day delivery. In addition, we have multiply lines of office furniture to fit almost any budget, anything from the break room to the board room.

Since Joe Birk took over the company in 1996, we have more than tripled in size. We now service more than 4,000 customers from our three branch locations and three sales offices. Only the top brand manufactures have asked Data Comm to represent them in our marketing area.

Data Comm’s headquarters is located in Jefferson City. However, we do serve more than fifty counties in the state of Missouri with our three branch locations and three sales offices. Our Jefferson City/Columbia branch serves the counties in and around the east central portion of the state.  In 2004 we expanded into the northwest portion of the state when we purchased a dealership in Chillicothe. This branch office now serves the ten surrounding counties. Most recently in 2009 we purchased a dealership in Osage Beach making this our third operating branch location. To better serve the local communities, we have added sales offices in Hermann, Mexico, and Columbia. These offices house our sales staff and showrooms in those local communities.

WE ARE A LOCAL COMPANY. We contribute to the communities we serve. When calling one of our local offices, you’re likely be greeted by someone you already know because we hire from within the communities we serve.

Our growth has been steady and constant. Data Comm will continue to grow into new communities through the acquisition of local dealerships similar to those just down the street.
